Born in 1995. Been hard at work since 2013.
I’m Alex Walters, a designer and photographer from Alabama currently working as a Graphic Designer at Southern Shirt, creating digital and print content. I have over two years of professional design experience and two years of professional photography experience, where I worked full-time in two photography studios (and freelance on the side).
I went to school at Auburn University at Montgomery to get my Bachelor’s in Graphic Design and a minor in photography. Weirdly, I graduated in December of 2019 right before the world shut down. Because of COVID, it was difficult to find work but I was blessed with freelance opportunities which helped me to enhance my skills and give me real life experience.
I enjoy a good breakfast, reading, listening to music, and watching good movies & tv shows. I love traveling, taking pictures (film & digital), and spending time with family. Growing older is bittersweet so I’m learning to enjoy every moment. If I could get another degree, I would pursue psychology. Although I’m a dog person, I have two cats (I know, the irony). I’m hoping one day my girlfriend will surprise me with my dream dog.
